Toronto Outdoor Adventure Show
I went to Toronto last weekend to work a booth at the Toronto Outdoor Adventure show for Save Ontario Shipwrecks. I headed down the night before and stayed at the Westin Harbourcastle, my preferred hotel when I have to go to Toronto.
Friday morning, I looked out the window and saw this:
Toronto City Centre airport looked like this:
In aviation terms it looked like this:
METAR CYTZ 251500Z AUTO 07009KT 9SM BKN017 OVC087 M06/M12 A3018 RMK SLP226=

And the forecast was this:

In other words: Ick.
The show itself was interesting, though nine hours at the show made for a long day. I took advantage of being there to get my Pleasure Craft Operator Card from one of the other exhibitors.
Friday evening I stayed at the Travelodge Hotel near the airport with the other people from SOS. There was a Board meeting on Saturday and I drove back Saturday evening.
The drive back was fairly uneventful, except for a stretch on the 401 between Shannonville and Belleville when it was snowing quite heavily.
