I got North Central as well with a full red bar. Not overly surprised. Having moved around a lot, I’ve picked up accents from all over the country. Even Americans think I often sound American.
Most of the “lived in Ottawa all their lives” people I’ve seen take the quiz get “Midland”… which doesn’t surprise me at all because I’ve thought for 19 years that people in Ottawa generally speak strangely 🙂
I played with the questions a bit and I think I’m one question different from getting the Midland accent. I think the difference is the sound of “ou” in “about”.
