…pedestrians in the crosswalk have the right-of-way. The fact that you entered the intersection late in the cycle when turning left does not give you the right to block the oncoming traffic while you sit in the intersection at the crosswalk honking your horn and yelling at the pedestrians who are crossing with the light.

In all fairness, pedestrians starting out after the orange hand is up/flashing are just as big asshats as a guy scrambling to turn left. It is asshattery from the same hat box.
Just because someone has the right of way doesn’t mean they’re absolved of being a dick when they abuse it.
If the pedestrians had started crossing after the hand appeared, I would agree, but in this case they were halfway across when the hand started flashing, so it’s 100% on the driver and not the pedestrians.
I wish I’d had a camera handy because the footage would have been priceless.
