Today is the first day back in the office since the lights went out at 16:11 on the 15th of August.

It went much better than I thought it would.  I was half-expecting to moderate amounts of chaos as everything started up again, but there wasn’t — at least not in my office.  That’s partly because it was business as usual for most of the regional offices that were unaffected by the outage and partly because of the great bunch of people who worked hard to make sure that the chaos was minimized.

Anyways, it’s nice to be back at work because except for Futurama being on in the middle of the afternoon, most daytime tv sucks!
